Full-length courses are a minimum of 3.5 hours excluding any required breaks. That time may vary depending on participant engagement and returning promptly after scheduled breaks.
If the course requires a practical assessment; experienced operators take roughly 10 - 15 minutes per piece of equipment while new operators take roughly 30 minutes per device to gain comfortability.
Yes, S.H.I.E.L.D. Safety Solutions provides full onsite training for companies and organizations that need it. We also offer instructor‑led virtual sessions to help accommodate different shifts, schedules, and staffing needs.

Yes. S.H.I.E.L.D. Safety Solutions provides standard group‑rate discounts for larger bookings:
These discounts apply automatically based on the number of participants booked for the same session. Promotional offers or first‑time client discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
Yes. All participants receive their certificates after completing the required training. If the employer booked the session, certificates are sent directly to the employer for record‑keeping. Upon request, we can also send individual certificates to participants’ personal email addresses.
If a practical evaluation is required (such as forklift or equipment training), certificates are issued once the hands‑on portion has been successfully completed.
Yes. All S.H.I.E.L.D. Safety Solutions training programs are fully compliant with current Ontario legislation and Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) requirements. Each course is built to align with the specific standards, acts, and regulations that apply to workplaces.
We continuously update our material to reflect any changes in provincial legislation, ensuring your workplace remains compliant during audits, inspections, or WSIB reviews.
Yes. Our regular training hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If training is required outside of those hours, or on weekends or statutory holidays, additional fees apply. This helps us accommodate shift work, production schedules, and workplaces that need after‑hours support.
Most classroom‑style courses can accommodate up to 12 participants per session. This keeps the training interactive, ensures everyone can participate, and maintains compliance with Ontario’s training standards.
For equipment‑based programs (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or aerial lifts), practical evaluations are completed one at a time, but multiple operators can be trained in the same classroom session. Larger groups can be scheduled in staggered blocks or split sessions as needed.
If you have more than 12 participants, we can arrange additional sessions or create a customized schedule to fit your staffing needs.
Yes — to a reasonable extent. We can include minor workplace‑specific details such as your equipment, common hazards, or internal procedures at no extra cost.
If you require significant customization (for example: building new modules, rewriting content, creating company‑specific training packages, or developing custom policies), additional fees will apply. This ensures the material remains accurate, compliant, and tailored to your needs without over‑promising full custom course development for every client..
You can book a training session by contacting S.H.I.E.L.D. Safety Solutions directly. Most clients schedule through email or phone, and we’ll confirm the date, time, number of participants, and any workplace‑specific details needed.
Once the session is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation outlining everything included, along with any preparation instructions if required.
Yes. All corporate clients are required to sign a Master Service Agreement (MSA) and any relevant training or liability waivers before services are delivered. This ensures both parties understand the scope of work, responsibilities, cancellation terms, and compliance requirements.
Once the MSA is signed, we can schedule training, practical evaluations, consulting, or ongoing support. For most clients, this is a quick, one‑time process — after the agreement is in place, future bookings are fast and straightforward.
